The crowded streets, The jeepney rides...

I stumbled upon some photos of the Philippines environment so I thought it would be perfect to post them to remind me as well of where I came from and what I miss... This is a jeepney.

This is the story of a girl...

Her name is April Kist Soldau Mande. Named after the month of April- meaning rain and sun kissed for kist which is kissed by the sun. She's 18 years of age and born on the 6th of April, making her an aries. She is not the typical Filipina looking girl with the perfect long black shiny hair. She's a brunette and is fair skinned and she stands 5'1 tall. She's happy and content with who and what she is (though she goes thru insecurities too) but she's thankful for what God has given her. She's of German-Spanish-Chinese-Filipino ethnicity (and can speak English, Tagalog and Kapampangan)but most people would suppose she's a white gal but all her life was spent on the beautiful island of the Philippines making her a foreign looking girl on the outside but definitely all Filipino inside.

She embarked on a journey 8 months ago to meet her mum and sister for the first time in her life. She was always a wanderer but this time it lead her to a place called LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. She now considers it home next to the Philippines. Music is a big part of her. She likes all kinds and appreciates them but she's more fond of those she can definitely relate to. She supports Filipino music more than any other kind. She believes you got to love your own. She likes painting, drawing, writing poems, dressing up on special occasions, fond of books and is in love with rock climbing... She also loved having the experience and privilege of modeling back in the Philippines. She always liked sharing a part of her to people around her. She's just like everybody, opinionated, but she definitely stands on what she thinks and knows is right. She hates being unfair. She dreams of contributing something to the world someday. She believes that it is one's purpose in life to give something back to the world and to God, even in your own littlest way. She is not a spoiled brat and definitely not a snub. She works hard for what she wants and doesn't like relying on other people to get what she fancies. She treasures her comrades and treats them as family. She loves her sister more than anything in the world. She loves God and believes in her faith. Pretty much she's an amiable and friendly type of person. Her life is not all melodrama but she believes it's whimsical, odd, magical and definitely fantastic. She amorously loves life and lives it to the fullest (even though she gets scared sometimes too). Welcome to my sweet queer lovely chocolate tasting awesomely insane with ice cream and cherry on top BLOG!... (TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!) To utter your certain dislikes or just tickle my fancies... write me here...

BIRTHDAY RESOLUTION AND GOALS:

1. try not to fail a subject in school

2. sleep early, wake up early and make sure to have 8 hours of sleep (getting better)

3. go to church

4. love myself first before i love somebody else :-(

5. don't stay out late that much

6. drink milk

7. try... try... try... i don't know try where???

8. never frown (atleast try)

9. join an organization

10. learn how to play the guitar

11. think about getting a job or not???
